As a writer I have been keenly aware of the role of symbolism. There are excellent texts available in most bookshops. My personal favourite is 'An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Traditional Symbols' by J.C. Cooper. However, you do not need to go to that expense because there is a good Dictionary of Symbolism on the web. The producers of this excellent site also offer some really good links to articles about symbolism.

How does it promote the flow of words? It's simple! Goal-setting is the foundation of personal productivity. Goal-setting helps you keep your eyes on the prize. The daruma system doesn't clutter your life up with complicated processes or elaborate steps. It simply involves setting reasonable goals and supports the benefits of establishing good habits. All writers need to set goals for themselves. Try setting some writing goals today. Daruma will send you reminders and help you attain that goal.
